Setup Custom Domain

From AYSO Wiki

Regions can have custom domain names. This can be nice to present a more professional view to families and make it easier to remember how to find your region. With Stack's software and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, you can assign role based emails instead of personal emails, e.g. RC@AYSOXX.org. This email can then be transitioned with the role and continuity in history, access and communication will remain in place. We refer to this as 'identifying the person with the role' rather than 'identifying the role to the person.'

Steps to Setup

Identify the custom domain your Region would like to use

Email support@ayso.org and ask them to confirm if the domain you would like to use is already registered or can be registered by the Office. The domain is usually something like ayso45.org or ayso65.org. Office managed domains are paid for the by the office and set to permanent auto-renew to prevent the loss of a domain due to an expired credit card or loss of access due to registration being tied to an inaccessible personal email.

Connect Your Domain

Once your domain has been acquired or confirmed, request the domain be directed to your Sports Connect or InLeague Registration Portal. Once complete, when families land on your registration portal, the URL will show your custom domain.Optional: Register Google Workspace for Nonprofits for your domain.
