Sports Connect Interest List

Do you want someone to be able to join your region's mailing list without having to create an account? If so, you can activate the Interest List from the Sports Connect Home Page Settings.
This Interest List module allows you to configure a custom text box (up to 160 characters) and collect email addresses without the a user needing to log in or register for a program. This can be used for a wide variety of purposes including:
- Gathering Interest Ahead of a Season Opening
- Collecting Sponsor Interest
- Newsletter Sign-Ups
How to Activate the Interest List
Navigate to the Home page and click on Interest List in the home page toolbar.
You will be presented with a text box where you can compose your message. This text box has a limit of 160 characters. The message will only be displayed between the start and end date. It starts at 12:01 AM of the start date and ends at 11:59 PM of the end date. If you choose no dates the message will display all the time.
Once you have clicked on Save, you will see the Interest List show up at the top of the page.
How to Use the Interest List to send Bulk Email
Any email address that has been submitted is stored in a new Interest List group, within the Bulk Email tool. This email group can also be exported or reset for a new campaign. Visit the Sending Bulk Email page for information regarding sending email.
