The AYSO Office recommends Chase Bank. The office can assist with new accounts, change of signers, and closing accounts.
This process is done 100% remotely. The first few steps are listed below, and additional steps will be provided once we receive the requested information.
We are now utilizing DocuSign to securely provide sensitive information and no longer require you to email a signer profile or IDs.
New Accounts
Please ensure all bank signers are listed as board members in our Sports Connect Association Platform. This is how our office validates and contacts Region board members.
- Please email Finance@ayso.org with:
- Region #
- Name(s) & email address(es) of who the signers will be (as listed in the association platform)
- Number of accounts to be opened, if more than one.
- Finance will send you a link via DocuSign to fill out the Chase Profile and securely attach copies of required IDs.
- Once DocuSign is completed and reviewed, further instructions will be provided.
Other important information:
- Fund your new account within 30 days with a minimum of $2,500 to avoid monthly fees.
- All checks must be payable to American Youth Soccer Organization. Due to banking regulation, the bank will no longer accept checks made out to AYSO Region #. Use the memo line for that information.
- Please switch your account to paperless statement. Download online.
- Chase connects easily to QuickBooks. Please connect as soon as possible.
- The following platforms may need to be updated to your new account and or credentials as soon as possible:
Online Banking
- You can Create your Online Banking Credentials here: Chase Online Banking
- If you are also a signer on another AYSO Region Chase account, you can link this new account to your current online profile:
- Navigate to main menu > profile & settings > manage linked account > view accounts > link account.
- Call 1-800-242-7338, Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 12 AM ET, Saturday and Sunday 8 AM – 8 PM ET for assistance.
Changing Signers on an Existing Account
Adding Signers

- Name(s) & email address(es) of who needs to be added to the bank account.
- Finance will send you a link via DocuSign to fill out the Chase Profile and securely attach copies of required IDs.
- Ensure you have the full Chase account number(s) you would like to be added to.
- Once DocuSign is completed and reviewed, further instructions will be provided.
Removing Signers
To request the removal of an existing signer, please send an email to Finance@ayso.org including:
- Name of the Person(s) that need to be removed
- Account Number(s) affected
- Region#
Please note: if the account is vested as anything other than American Youth Soccer Organization the account will need to be closed. The Office will open a new account with the current signers and one of the existing signers can transfer the balance and close the account. If you suspect fraud or cannot contact any of the existing signers to make this transition, please contact the Office for support. Finance@ayso.org
Chase Bank Requirements
- The account name will be American Youth Soccer Organization and cannot include the region name or number.
- Checks made out to anything other than American Youth Soccer Organization will not be accepted by the bank.
- We suggest the payor write the region name or number in the memo line.
Money Market Accounts
If you would like to earn some interest on excess funds in an approved investment account, Chase can open a Money Market account for your Region, Area or Section. To get more information or to start the paperwork, email Finance@ayso.org and we will make the appropriate introductions.
