NAGM Region Tools and Resources

Region Tools 2025

The tools and resources recommended for AYSO Regions can help implement best practices and strengthen the foundation of your Region’s operations.

Vanity URL for your Sports Connect Region Website
- As a new Region your Sports Connect website is given a default URL— ayso.bluesombrero.com. The next step is to submit a request for a custom domain name with the AYSO Support Team; this service is free to Regions and the URL will be managed by the national office.
- Email support@ayso.org requesting a custom domain name (ex. aysocityname.org or ayso8030.org).

Google Workspace: Onboard Today!
- Access to Google's Suite of Tools (Docs, Drive, Calendar, Gmail)
- Receive an official RC@aysoXXX.org email account, as well as accounts for your other board positions (ex. treasurer@aysoXXX.org). This will allow for smooth future volunteer position transitions.

Google Business Profile
- Promote your Sports Connect Website on Google Search Results and Google Maps by informing Google about your Region’s service location.
Google Search Console
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your Sports Connect web presence in Google Search Results.
Sports Connect Website Training and Optimization
- Think of your Region’s website as a storefront to your local programs. A Region website is a key asset to recruiting families and volunteers, building trust, increasing retention, and ultimately establishing your Region as a credible youth soccer program in your local community.
- Within the Region Marketing Playbook there are designated chapters to system training, and populating and maintaining your Region website.

SOCi- Online Presence, Social Media, and Reputation Manager Tool: Onboard Today!
1. SOCi is a premium local marketing service with a centralized dashboard for search visibility, social media, and reputation management.
2. SOCi Onboarding Guidebook: outlines the information needed to onboard (~10 minute process) and instructions for the social channel connection process once you receive SOCi platform credentials.
3. SOCi Feature Guidebook: Once you have completed the onboarding form, review the SOCi features and how they can be used by AYSO Regions.

Canva: User-friendly Graphic Design Tool
- Canva is a great tool for creating flyers and other print designs, graphics for your Region website, and social media content.
- The resources I create are offered to Regions as Canva templates. These templates are available via the Local Marketing Wiki page.

Marketing Coordinator Role in Sports Connect Association Platform

Within the Sports Connect Association Platform there is now a position dedicated to Marketing and Communications efforts. This will allow for streamlined communication, as the AYSO office has a team available for Region marketing support!
